About Us
Meet Jessica
Jessica Washenko-Blank, MSN, NP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (licensed in PA and NY) and the compassionate heart behind Elemental Health & Wellness.
Jessica's calling to care for others began back in 1998 when she graduated from Luzerne County Community College. Over the years, her nursing journey took her down many paths—holding the hands of critically ill patients in the ICU, visiting families at home as a case manager, and ultimately thriving in the fast-paced world of the Emergency Room. Along the way, she kept learning, earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in 2017 and her master's degree from Spring Arbor University in 2020.
When the pandemic hit, Jessica was serving as a Nurse Practitioner on the frontlines of the ER. Bearing witness to so much acute illness sparked a profound realization: she wanted to help patients before they ever reached the crisis stage. She wanted to prevent health "fires" entirely rather than just fighting them when they get out of hand.
Elemental Health & Wellness was born out of that fierce desire to do better for her patients. Here, Jessica blends traditional medicine with holistic, integrative care. She takes the time to truly listen, dig deep into your wellness story, and partner with you on a path to true healing. Because around here, things really are different.
